A section of the 710 Freeway was reopened in both directions Saturday night near Cal State Los Angeles after being closed due to downed power lines, authorities said.
The closure, between Valley Boulevard and the 10 Freeway (map), was announced on social media at 8:16 p.m. by the Alhambra Police Department.
It was unclear what caused the power lines to fall.
All lanes were reopened on the 710 freeway shortly after 10 p.m., Alhambra police Lt. Gabriel Ponce said.
